ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS!

Project Graduation is the safe-alternative after-graduation party for seniors.  Normally, it is a lock-in with games, music, and loads of give-a-ways!  However, with Covid restrictions, ProGrad will look a bit different this year, but we don’t want it to effect the gifts we are able to give away to our 2021 Senior Class.  Since we have not been able to have fundraisers, we decided to make a GoFund Me Charity Campaign named $21 for 2021!  We are asking all seniors to solicit $21 donations, and for each $21 donation made in their name they will receive a ticket to enter into the drawing for the larger items given away (i.e. refigerators, iPads, Apple watch, televisions, etc.)!  Please help us reach our goal by sending this campaign out via email or text, share it on Facebook and Twitter, spread the word! Let’s help make this year end on a high note for our seniors that have had to sacrifice a normal senior year!

There are two mental health app directories users can consult to find a mental health app, namely the NHS Apps Library and PsyberGuide in partnership with Anxiety and Depression Association of America.  The NHS Apps Library lists apps that have been “approved” following assessment using a number of criteria including effectiveness, security and technical stability. PsyberGuide includes ratings based on “credibility, user experience and expert review,” and a credibility score that “represents the strength of the scientific research support for the app itself, and the therapeutic interventions the app provides.”

Students who need emotional support outside of school can call this number to speak with an outside counselor 24/7.  This is free, confidential, and anonymous.

Speak Up:  Link to online form under Students/Parents tab
Students are able to submit an anonymous report online for bullying and any other safety concerns via this form.  While we always encourage students to approach an adult on campus for this, this does provide an anonymous option for students who would not otherwise say something.
