Weather Update 3 - Tuesday, Sept. 14

All Lamar CISD campuses and facilities will be open and resume normal operations on Wednesday, September 15. Additionally, all before and after school activities will resume as normal.  

Throughout the day, the Lamar CISD facilities team has evaluated District campuses and facilities and addressed any issues caused by inclement weather overnight. 

As always, you can continue to monitor the District’s website and social media accounts for the latest information.

Weather Update 2 - Monday, Sept. 13

Due to predicted inclement weather and mobility issues from Tropical Storm Nicholas, all Lamar CISD campuses will dismiss students an hour early today, September 13. Elementary campuses will release students at 1:55 p.m. and secondary campuses will release students at 2:40 p.m. 

Additionally, afterschool activities including meetings and events are canceled. Our elementary campus will provide afterschool supervision for students until parents can safely arrive. 

All Lamar CISD campuses and facilities will also be closed on Tuesday, September 14.

The District is closely monitoring weather forecasts and possible inclement weather related to Tropical Storm Nicholas.
